South-East Regional Qualifiers, 2019 Season

It was a “battle” of words at the South-East Regional Level Competition, yesterday (1st June) as qualifiers from all the eastern states converged in Onitsha for the Regional contest.

We are proud to present the very best Spellers who will represent the region at the National Finals in July.

They include:

• Chukwu Chisom Benedicta of Holy Ghost British Academy (Divine Rays British Schools), Obosi, Anambra State
• Chukwu Gabriel Chinemelum of Our Lady Of Assumption Secondary School, Onitsha, Anambra State
• Ejike-Anyaduba  Chukwudumeme Louis of Holy Ghost British Academy (Divine Rays British Schools), Obosi, Anambra State
• Kamarachukwu U. Frida of Mount Olive College Umunya, Anambra State
• Maduforo Victor Uchechukwu of Marist Brother’s Juniorate, Uturu, Abia State.
• Ndubuisi Prince Chucks Chimeremeze I.A. of Deeper Life High School, Aba Campus, Abia State.
• Nnaemeka Chigozie Valentine of Blossom Fount College, Awka, Anambra State.
• Okoro David K. Model of Deeper Life High School Aba Campus, Abia State.
• Ted-Eze Joshua of Deeper Life High School Onitsha Campus, Anambra State.

These National Finalists will represent the region in the National Finals which will take place at Ritman University, Ikot-Ekpene, Akwa-Ibom State.

Special appreciation goes to the Regional Level Host, Divine Rays British School, Obosi, Anambra State for providing an excellent environment for the conduct of the Nigeria Spelling Bee and hosting out-of-state Spellers.
