Nigeria was represented at the African Spelling Bee by spellers from Nigerian Spelling Bee. The grand event took place in Johannesburg, South Africa in July 2016.
The spellers had the opportunity to meet their counterparts from various other African countries and to participate in many fun filled activities and sight visits to the Mandela Residence and various shopping malls among other places.
