The Nigeria Spelling Bee state level for Gombe state took place in Government Science Secondary School Gombe on the 19th of November, 2016.
The event was attended by spellers from across Gombe. Three spellers from Gombe qualified for the North East regional bee.
Winners at the National Level stand a chance to win N1m in schorlaship and a chance to represent Nigeria at the African Spelling Bee in Ethiopia next year.
