Ogun State Competition (2019 Season)

The Ogun State qualifiers of the Nigeria Spelling Bee has just been concluded with the most exceptional spellers clinching slots to represent the state at the regional stage of the contest.

Among these spellers were the Junior spellers which include:

• Ajibade Damilola of Bookers College
• Fasakin Henry of ECCOWAS (Cosmopolitan) College
• Idowu Eniola of Montclair College
• Inioluwa Adejumo of Montclair College, Oke-aro
• Naomi Ishola of Montclair College, Oke-aro
• Simon Ayobami of Montclair College

The Seniors include:

• Abubakar Amidat of Montclair College
• Adepoju Joy of Deeper Life Highschool,Abeokuta
• Afolayan Covenant of Deeper Life High School, Abeokuta
• Ilobah Gloria of Montclair College
• Odutola Oluwafemi of Montclair College
• Olayinka Aminat Ayomide of Welkin International School

These Spellers will progress to the next level of the contest (Regional) where they will meet other state qualifiers from the western region and compete for a chance to be one of the National Finalist who have the opportunity to win ₦1,000,000 scholarship.

All National Champions win an all-expenses-paid trip to represent Nigeria at the African Spelling Bee 2019 edition
